Snowdon locations

Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa in Welsh) is the highest mountain in England and Wales at 3560 feet (1085m).

Snowdon is visible from the route of the WHR at locations between Waunfawr and Beddgelert.

Snowdon first comes into view at Plas-y-nant but the best views are between Castell Cidwm and Hafod Ruffydd.

Snowdon lives up to its English name and for much of the Winter and early Spring is crowned with a mantle of snow.

Here is a sample to whet your appetite!
